James's attorney will most likely ask the assigned judge for the charges to be dropped, and the judge should. As for the prosecutor, someone could file a complaint with the state bar, and they could look into having her law license revoked.

When it comes to an indictment and a grand jury, the prosecutor and prosecutor alone chooses what evidence to present to the jury for them to decide if they should indict or not indict a person. So I'm betting the prosecutor purposely left facts out to get the indictment.

I "love" that we have moved away from the idea that parents should actually parent their children and that it falls on the state to protect them. Especially since your article ignores the responsibilities of parents when it comes to their own kids on the topic of "but who should be responsible."
