Je zajímavé jak dopodrobna se dá rozepsat každá drobnost.. a zároveň nezmínit problém uchování práv k článku (rights retention), což je to co stojí za Open Accessem. Náš problém je, že máme pocit - na rozdíl od Evropy - že to zkrátka nejde. A pak nikdo nerozumí požadavkům, které z toho vycházejí. 🤷‍♂️

Sorbonne Université annonce son retrait du classement des universités proposé par le Times Higher Education à partir de 2026. Cette décision s'inscrit dans une démarche plus large de promotion de la science ouverte et de réforme de l'évaluation de la recherche, conformément aux engagements pris par l'université dans le cadre de l'Accord COARA et de la Déclaration de Barcelone. Sorbonne Université privilégie ainsi les bases de données ouvertes et transparentes pour évaluer ses performances académiques.

Wow, do RIVu se budou _nově_ vyplňovat tituly autorů... v době identifikátorů (ORCID ftw!) a v zemi, která se chová k titulům v mezinárodním kontextu dost.. unikátně?

Měl jsem za to, že se téhle obsese s mladší generací už začínáme zbavovat.

Třeba je to jen zachování tradice generování políček.

Dostali jsme příležitost pomáhat s programem, snad se povede najít rozumný balanc mezi "zbytečná zatěžující blbost" a "musíme hned požadovat aby všichni všechno dělali ideálním způsobem". K diskuzi je toho dost, jen se musí trošku chtít ;-)

Jako, expert na celý proces nejsem, ale mám pocit, že u ERC je nejdůležitější obhájit projekt před hodnotiteli - když dostanete důvěru, tak už je do větší míry na vás co z toho dostanete. V Česku si nastavíte indikátory a tím dáte možnost úředníkům odškrtávat(kontrolovat) čárky. A pak honíte čárky.

Míchání požadavků na #OpenAccess (podle Horizon E) s požadavky na 1.kvartil v komerční databázi (podle MŠMT/ OP JAK) vytváří koktejl, který limituje možnosti publikování. Je to česká(!) cesta a fixuje výhodu časopisů s vysokým IF. Časopisy s vysokým IF a vysokou cenou APC vyhrávají. #wrongDirection

Ale když je vám smutno a všechno vám připadá hrozné... stačí se podívat na Slovensko, to je ještě jinde. „Ak chceme podporiť slovenských vedcov v produkcii výstupov svetovej úrovne, musíme prispôsobiť financovanie medzinárodným štandardom. Vedecký automat je riešením, ktoré im v tomto smere pomôže“😱

Ministerstvo školstva prichádza s novým systémom financovania excelentných vedeckých výstupov. Odmeňovanie verejných vysokých škôl a autorov vedeckých prác je vďaka „vedeckému automatu“ rýchlejšie a efektívnejšie. Cieľom tohto mechanizmu je motivovať vedcov aj priamou finančnou podporou, ktorá odmení ich prácu a prinesie benefity celému vedeckému prostrediu.
