I’m so glad my brother never threw this out and gave it back to me a few years ago (and prompted a flood of amazing gaming memories as soon as I saw it again for the first time in years). What an amazing, magical time 🤩

MkVaff: I can’t recall if I shared this here a few years back, but I just rediscovered the large Christmas wishlist / poster I made for my family when I was a kid on my quest to get a super NES back when it was released. I spent days cutting and pasting various photos and ads I found in magazines and catalogs. The letters and borders are falling apart but you can get the idea [picture of handmade collage of early 90s-era video game system logos, video game logos, and game screenshots, including the Super NES, Game Gear, Super Mario World, F-Zero, Super Ghouls N’Ghosts, SimCity, and more with “CHRISTMAS LIST” in hand-cut letters at the top]

It’s rainy and windy outside the window, and I’m listening to what *may* be the final version of the last song on my latest project.

There’s still a lot more to do, but I’m relieved, proud, and grateful to be at this point. 🙏

Few things prove that I’m a broken adult human in 2025 like the fact that it’s the addition of MarioPaint on Nintendo’s online service that’s making me suddenly consider buying a Switch 2.

I wonder how many of my every day decisions stem from “please bring me back to 1992.” 🥲😩

I just finished the latest song / video for Reflections and it really bummed me out - but I suppose in a good way? 🤷‍♂️ Going through all this old footage and creating little musical time capsules is proving to be as challenging - and in some ways as cathartic - as I had imagined.
