The scope of this is so vast, I’m not sure we’ll ever know the full extent.

Accusations of international crime, money laundering, and trafficking seem massive.

How many billions of extra funding did ICE receive from the supposedly “Big Beautiful Bill”?

And they can’t afford basic healthcare services for detainees? Complete fu*k up.
1. An abrupt decision by the Trump administration on October 3 left thousands of ICE detainees without access to vital medical care — a crisis that is ongoing — according to previously unreported ICE documents obtained by Popular Information.

Follow this thread for details.

It’s been this way pretty much since Citizen’s United was decided more than a decade ago. It’s up to us to remind folks that it wasn’t always this way and it can change. Shame on us for normalizing this.

“We owe it to our young people not to lie to them anymore. A democracy whose citizens operate with fundamentally different understandings of the past and its implications cannot sustain itself.”
I spent October traveling to schools throughout the South talking to students about American history. What I found were young people who understand we can tell a story that includes both the positive and the negative. As one 8th grader in Memphis said, “Doesn’t seem that hard, just say both things.”

Maybe…

But I just think it makes him look stupid, along with the president who nominated him and senators who confirmed him.
This is the sort of brazen lie you tell when you’re trying to demonstrate your power by showing you can say shit that everyone knows is a lie, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

I just don’t believe Trump ever plans on allowing full disclosure of anything Epstein related.

From what I understand, Trump could release the files just on his own say-so, so why is he calling for Republicans to vote in favor? Why vote at all? That’s the part I’m not understanding.
Why Trump’s sudden agreement that the Epstein material be released?

Likely getting advice to:

1. The vote damn near inevitable…so moving ahead of it reduces damage

2. By endorsing release, he hopes to flip the narrative and relieve pressure.

3. Trying to pre-empt more hostile disclosures.

FEAR.

1. Trump is in the process of sending millions in taxpayer money directly to his political allies — and himself.

The money purportedly is to settle legal claims.

But these claims are extraordinarily weak and have little to no chance of success.

In reality, it is a brazen theft.

In July, Trump's DOJ and FBI said there was no evidence to charge people based on the Epstein files.

Turns out Trump is all over them.

Now of course he's calling for an investigation (of his enemies) which would block the release of more emails.
