Our Founder bumped into Stirling Council leader, Gerry McGarvey today whilst visiting the Mary Queen of Scots casket exhibit.

Good to hear they were on the same page about promoting Stirling's culture and heritage on what Stirling can offer to a wider audience.

We have been working away in the background since 2022, on how and when to bring back The Sruighlea Festival.

As we look to take advantage of the May bank holiday weekend, Stirling’s food, drink and live music festival will return on Saturday 2nd May 2026.

I was delighted to be part of Stirling Uni networking event last week as one of the business mentors.

We discussed what can entrepreneurial thinking bring to a business and hopefully my overview on 'success, failure and growth mindset' helped create questions.

Our delivery model only works if businesses, interested in supporting communities, engage with the social enterprise.

Agreed but it’s been a challenging journey since 2016 to say the least. A need to change this process is essential going forward as although 3rd Sector organisations can help Governments and LA’s, we work differently with most of this time spent unpaid, as our focus is achieving our social mission.

It’s the aim Peter and the opportunity would turn a £100k #ScotEnt into a £1m turnover, but we need the right people with us. We need their input to help kick start it.
Outcomes include increased:
1️⃣ support for young people
2️⃣ local economic impact
3️⃣ employment
4️⃣ community wealth

Leaders in the 3rd Sector need to think big, especially when it comes to becoming sustainable so we can achieve our social missions.
