I just remembered this and it got me thinking of Langa telling Ai stories of his dad and when Langa starts crying from the memories, Ai holds him and coos soothingly in English. Langa ends up kissing him so aggressively bc he feels so heard. Also bc he loves Ai’s accent 🥹

I like to think that Langa routinely goes to Adam when he’s upset since he is the only one who really understands English. And Adam knows Langa is far more comfortable and able to get his feelings across than he would in Japanese, so he just sits and listens.
