Apple sauce, apple turnovers with premade pie or puff pastry, dried apple rings in dehydrator or oven on very low heat for ages.
Assuming this is the Tom Daly show, I have no desire to watch, based on the ad alone. Just curious if fashion shows bother you for the same reason? I think they are a waste of time, but never thought about the wasted material before.
So sorry for your loss. May the memory of him be a blessing to your family.
“Paint me like one of your French art thieves!”
Yeah, I grew up an only child in an apt full of childless adults. Everyone there my parents knew was an aunt or uncle to me, even though we were not related in the least.
No. Three top contenders are not baked long enough, too wet to start, or pot wasn’t hot enough (you’re supposed to heat the oven for 30 min before baking, but I generally don’t, because I find that wasteful. I try to keep it to 15).
Oh, I always freeze bread. It tastes fine 🤭, it just made it difficult to slice, and now I have a messy pot to clean. 🫤
Been on here too long to remember if my original post got liked, but what the hey. Just posting to complain that my “no-work” bread stuck to the bottom of the enameled cast iron pot for the first time, and it’s making me sad. ☹️ 🍽️
Having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that SV was airing a decade or more ago…been rewatching it slowly and damn, it still hits true to me.
What an awesome idea! I mean, I usually have knitting with me if I’m headed to a coffee shop, but if I didn’t, I’d totally knit on them!
You could try a cowl as a stepping stone. You can practice joining to knit in the round, but you don’t need to decrease as you do for hats.
When I was little, my mom loved lemon curd. She never offered it to me, so I grew up thinking it must taste gross because of the name. Only a handful of years ago did I discover my mistake. Love it.Try cranberry next! You can also make w/olive oil, and in the microwave! I use my Vitamix, too!
Right back atcha, says Max.
Well kids, the phrase of the night here in Raleigh is “we’re gonna need a bigger vacuum!” 🙀 Some kind of mutant grasshopper bug took up residence on our wall, and we had to use the shop vac to get it. We did try to rescue it by flicking it out on the lawn. Not sure it worked tho.
Shoot. Also forgot this one.
All of it. Just all of it. And let’s not forget…
I remember learning in business school that Chevy didn’t realize that “Nova” means “No Go” in Spanish, and the car flopped in Mexico. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I assumed—that’s what’s so funny—he’s still crushable. :)
Oh god. I had a huge crush on Mark Harmon back in the 80s. The man aged well. 😁
Can I ask if you mean in person? If so, what state?
Also, Eureka was amazing for a couple of seasons. Til Ed Quinn left. Oh, the Jack/Nathan fic I wrote thanks to that show…
I only ever had to drive once in SF…borrowed my besties ancient Nova. Lemme tell you, facing down those hills in that car was like what I imagine riding a super roller coaster to feel like.
I very much enjoyed the Chihuly glass at the botanical garden in suburban Columbus. There are lots of places that offer glass blowing “shows”, too. And has Kid watched the glass competition on TV? I can’t remember the name.
