I just stopped by my daughter’s dorm to drop something off. It’s about 1230 here. She just woke up. No she wasn’t partying. She was at a library until 3 AM studying for finals. Her freshman year is quite different than mine was 🙀😹😸

I just found out (against my will) that the iced sugar cookies I’ve been eating (a lot) have 400 calories in EACH of them. They’re not even big! No wonder I’m gaining weight 😒😫

I have to sit in traffic every morning now, and I recently discovered that if I listen to house music instead of my usual, go -tos or a podcast I am significantly less irritated. Hard to be crabby when you’re dancing in your seat, even if you are in traffic.

This extremely kind neighbor came over to snow blow my driveway. Considering I have to be out of this house tonight shoveling 13 inches would’ve taken most of my day! Sometimes people are very kind 🥹
