word of the hero of baldur’s gate and her condition makes its way to menzoberranzan, and the matron of house hla’ghym sends assassins to take care of any “loose ends” (birthright threats) to her claim to the title.

Ilphiira was born to Iymfryn (runaway heir to House Hla’Ghym, a noble family in Menzoberranzan) and Kelroos (former male pleasure consort + entertainer) They escaped the undercity together and moved to an Eilistraean outpost, where they had Ilphiira.
