feels silly sharing this considering all the money we've spent recently getting ready for twitchcon (and will be spending at twitchcon), but seems like the vet bills wont be stopping anytime soon so anything helps 🥴

we are making the difficult decision to let wheatley go.
his health has declined rapidly over the past 24 hours. he collapsed again this morning before we took him to the vet and that's when we knew this was it.

wheatley is our child. mr goth dad and I have been together for almost 14 years and we've had wheatley for 13 of those years. we gave him the best life you can give a little dog. as difficult as it is we know we are making the right choice.

Vet said his labs looked great considering his age and all he's been through. His episode was most likely a mini stroke due to exhaustion. He is showing very early signs of kidney disease though which he will need routine labs to keep an eye on.

Wheatley had another seizure this evening. It was worse than that random one he had two months ago and was very scary.

We're going to call the vet in the morning and hope we can get him to be seen. I'll probably end up not sleeping tonight because i'm too anxious and want to make sure he's okay.

Just when we thought he was doing great this happens and I'm stressed all over again. 🥲

So that being said there will most likely not be a stream tomorrow.

I will keep y'all updated. 💜
