Happy #portfolioday
I'm a Norwegian illustrator with a love for everything fantasy!

I had plans of posting a fanart today, but I'll do that tomorrow instead. Hint hint - 'soulslike' 🦋

Thank you for the tip!
The piece is nearly complete though, so I've might have already failed in this regard. The final pose differs a bit from the sketch as it's not so stiff, but the lower part of the body is quite relaxed. I put more into the bodylanguage in terms of emotion rather than realism.

Teaser sketch for an upcoming piece. One in a series of 4. *hint hint* 🐎

I don't mess with AI though if that's what you're asking.

I had the pleasure of creating a few character portraits for Phil Tucker's series Bastion, Immortal Great Souls.
He currently has a kickstarter going for a deluxe edition of book 1. You can find more info about this on his website, authorphiltucker.com

It was a joy working on these! 🖤

Thank you! 🖤
She for sure needs it 😥

Yes, exactly!
It's a little brighter and simpler (story wise), but oh so good! I love the small sweet bits they added in. Like the choises and reactions you experience throughout, and of course the gramophone.

I haven't seen much fanart of Lies of P so I decided to give it a go.
Being a soulsborne fan this one took me by surprise and has possibly become one of my alltime favorites.
Everything from the music and visuals to the gameplay is superb!

I hope you enjoy my little tribute 🦋

Hi #portfolioday I'm Zara, a Canadian artist working mainly on Magic: The gathering and painting for myself in my free time 🖤
“Medusa Portrait” is a portrait painted by the artist Zara Alfonso. A portrait of a young Medusa who looks peacefully towards the viewer, her hair is flowing mass of thick iridescent dark indigo snakes tied up in a head wrap. “Stasis” is a portrait painted by the artist Zara Alfonso, and is the first piece in her series about invisible illness. A portrait painting of a girl with skin so pale she’s almost translucent, her lips are tinged blue and she gazes upward through seemingly unseeing eyes. Pale moths and winged insects cover the expanse of her face and body, blending into her skin in places. “Shalai's Acolyte” is a painting by the artist Zara Alfonso, done for the Magic: The Gathering Dominaria United set. A Serran angel floats night among the clouds, backlit by the rising sun. In her hand she holds a glaive grown from the poisonous foliage of the forest far below. Her plated metal armor is a mix of steel with embellished swirls of copper, tied together with long flowing strips of white fabric. She has massive white feathery wings, long flowing dark brown hair, dark skin, and glowing white eyes. “Kithkin Billyrider” is a painting by the artist Zara Alfonso, done for the Magic: The Gathering March of the Machine set. A tiny kithkin knight rides a billy goat into battle against the Phyrexian invasion. She sheds a few golden tears as she feels the life leave her brothers and sisters who fight beside her.

Oh hey #PortfolioDay

I am Tawny™. I craft intricate ink drawings of mythological and macabre subjects to pay homage to both the exquisite beauty and profound depths of the human experience, where the lines between wonder and darkness converge.

In the club, we all fam.
A bold, gothic-style illustration by Tawny Fritz featuring a woman with flowing hair, large curved horns, and bat-like wings. She gazes confidently over her shoulder, wearing a shredded garment with sharp, organic details. The background includes a stark red circle against a black and white composition. an intricate black-and-white illustration. It depicts a woman with flowing hair and an elegant gown, walking amidst a surreal, dark, and twisted landscape filled with abstract tree-like structures. Her expression is serene, and the composition evokes a sense of mystery and dreamlike wonder. The background features a starry sky, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere. A detailed black-and-white illustration featuring a dark, ethereal figure with flowing hair and ornate armor. The character has piercing, glowing eyes and large, intricately patterned wings resembling those of a moth or butterfly, with jagged, organic shapes. Swirling mist surrounds the figure, adding a sense of movement and mystery. The background consists of abstract, textured patterns resembling branches or veins, complementing the haunting and otherworldly atmosphere. A highly detailed black-and-white illustration of an underwater scene. It features a serene, otherworldly figure with flowing hair that intertwines like currents. The figure resembles a mermaid, with scales covering parts of their body and intricate tentacle-like elements wrapping around their form. They are surrounded by jellyfish with long, elegant tendrils, adding a sense of fluid motion. The background is starkly black, enhancing the contrast of the white lines and emphasizing the depth and mystery of the underwater environment. The artwork evokes a sense of calm, wonder, and the beauty of the deep sea.
