The place I was going to do a poetry open mic didn't open the night of and I've also found out they're going out of business at the end of the month which means I won't be able to in the future, so I'm just going to make a video and post it here instead 😅

I’ve had the privilege of reading some of said stories and they’re fantastic. Anybody in the #writingcommunity have tips for them?
Going to be starting a patreon to post my stories on. Starting off with free content I wonder if folks support new artists there without a preexisting fanbase. I don’t need fans but I want to share my stories with fear of them being stolen by AI.

Sometimes I feel like my writing is like Peggy Hill confidently speaking Spanish and people are just too polite to say something, and any compliments feel like Hank Hill going "This is my wife Peggy and she's real smart." if that makes sense?
