Last week, The Gambia passed the Data Protection and Privacy Bill, 2025, and today Bangladesh approved its Personal Data Protection Ordinance. If Paraguay's DPB, 2019 is not passed by the Chamber on November 8, 2025, it will go to the President for signature.

The EDPB and the Commission also address other provisions including those related to the distribution of third party apps and stores, data portability, data access requests and interoperability of messaging services.

New CCPA regs consider “legal services offices” to be “sensitive locations.” I have never seen such protections afforded to lawyers like this, and I’m really curious exactly what prompted this inclusion.
