Also, you're not in America, right? Unlike me, you WON'T be charged thousands and thousands to get a little peace of mind by dropping by an emergency room. So, you know, maybe you don't need American stoicism.

Call your doc if you have persistent fevers, even low ones, or if your incision dehisces and drains (opens, oozes, can be an infection risk). Dramatic swelling could also be a reason to call. bruising is really scary, but likely normal.

It's been a month and a full course of antibiotics for me and my post op disgusto inflammatory seroma swelling and bruising is beginning to calm down. I've had a passle of surgeries, so I'm just finding it a slog, not scary. Yeah. This post-op omg-holy-shit is normal. Hang in there. Hugs.

I have atelectasis, partial lung deflation from previous pneumonias. I have to ask doctors and nurses to wear masks. And THEN ask that they wear them correctly. PROVIDERS really shouldn't passive-aggressively dicknose when examining an immune-compromised patient.
