Today I managed to partially restore the unused leaderboard menus in the DSi version of Rayman 1!
It's not fully known what they were for, but it seems the original intent behind the anti-dark matters (basically achievements) was to locally submit them between systems.

Rayman 2 has just been updated on GOG as part of their preservation program! It includes enhanced compatibility, Polish localization, improved controller support and cloud sync among other things.

Mr. Dark was supposed to be much easier than it is in the demo, since instead of duplicating movements, the dark cursor moved towards the player, and Mr. Dark accelerated it in a fixed last direction sometimes
