Playing the new Indiana Jones game, and I truly respect their dedication to just letting you beat the absolute holy hell out of fascists.

Indy sees a fascist, it's open season. Anything nearby is a weapon, he's gonna have a one-liner, this is a worthy successor to Wolfenstein.

The first movie was more self-aware, but they got rid of that director for the sequels. Also Robert Pattinson was told to tone it down because he was playing Edward as more horror than romance. Both he and Stewart are very talented, they just weren't allowed to do anything interesting.

Now who's looking forward to seeing Gawyn make some good decisions?

Very conflicted about Arcane because the show is visually such a masterpiece, but the story, themes, and characters were handled in a certain way...🫠

I want to give it a tribute through art but the resolution and so many directing choices in S2 left such a sour taste in my mouth.

Writing Cait and Vi in fics is extremely difficult because so much of their inner life is conveyed via microexpressions in the actual show.

I salute Fortiche for making Arcane a show where dialogue is only a fraction of the communication going on, but it does lead to some gnarly adaptation issues.

It's still one of the most stylish and best-animated shows ever made, but you can really feel that they had to cut it from 3 seasons to 2 and set up other shows. Still plenty of great moments, but the whole is less than the sum of its parts.

The best news I can get! Thank you so much for reading! Chapter 3 had minor tweaks for Act 3 Easter eggs, but everything else was written blind.

Not letting myself read anything rn to force myself to get the first chapter of the follow-up out, but yours is top of my list for after.

Replaced the original post as well, figured I should avoid having my first post on a new app be quite so obviously indicative of my technological illiteracy!
