I picked up some reel to reels recently! This is a random little song I made up on the spot, and my first actual recording on the Tascam TSR-8. MPC for drums, and mic'ed bass + guitar. Here I'm mixing down to stereo on the TEAC 2300S (which was fed into my camera).

The first patch I loaded as lead felt massive! I tried to see how many other sounds I could layer and still be able to discern them.

Pivot is my week 2 #weeklybeats submission.

I started trying to record some bass guitar parts, but the gear wasn't cooperating, so I had to... pivot. Transcribed what I had for drums and Bass intro onto my Dirtywave M8, and then ran with it.
