Betty Reid Soskin was a defining presence in our district, and a force for truth, memory, and equity. At the Rosie the Riveter site in Richmond, she helped ensure our history was told fully and honestly. That work, and her legacy, will endure.
Betty Reid Soskin, who served as the nation’s oldest park ranger and related firsthand accounts of segregation as a Black woman on the World War II home front, has died. She was 104.

There's a lot of focus on how the dripping antisemitism on the right has created a useful rupture in various parts of Trump's support, and that's true.
