I never owned the original Metroid back in the day, so the game has always been a big confusing mess to me. It doesn't change the fact that it birthed one of my favorite genres, and its remake is one of my favorite action/adventure games of all time.

My first experience with Bomberman was on the TurboGrafx16, and I instantly fell in love with the multiplayer option. The main series has only had minor changes over the years, but that couch competitive mode is still number one!

I didn't play the original Battletoads until I was older. My first experience was Battlemaniacs on the SNES and I loved it! A basic beat'em up with over-the-top cartoon effects: what's not to like!
