Also Naho Ooishi was the artist behind the manga version of the Tarble special so she's responsible for his manga appearance more strongly resembling Vegeta (and not prototype Cabba or dollar store Gohan).

Vegeta and Bulma, as well as Trunks and Bulla/Bra are dressed up as the android except Vegeta dressed as Bulma from that saga. Bulma is dressed as android 18, Trunks as Android 19 and Bulla/Bra as Cell from the time machine. Spot is dressed as Dr Briefs.

I'm still in the process of fixing things before I do final colors but I wanted to draw Tarble in a more military-ish uniform and looked for some references.

I liked a design that an artist called crispyclaw on Twitter did, so I did some tweaks there and presto.
