There is no realistic reason that Trump should be at the center of any peace negotiations. Trump lacks the diplomacy and frankly the character to carry out such negotiations because such negotiations are NOT transactional in nature. Get Trump out of these negotiations and let leaders

I think it is past time for another country and someone to step up and take over these negotiations. Trump and his cronies obviously have other objectives than Ukraine’s best interests. Who is it that should take over, the EU? the U.N.? a new consortium of countries? There are lots of possibilities.
This smells like outright collusion with Russia to me. Trump shrugs it off as what a dealmaker does: sell the plan to Ukraine, sell the plan to Russia. He says “we must end this war” and thinks he deserves the Nobel Prize??? Not if it's at the cost of Ukraine’s sovereignty.

And, apparently he drove all this way with a handgun and 4 (count them 4) bullets!
I have to ask this question. If this guy was so upset that he wanted to shoot some National Guardsmen why did he drive all the way from Washington state to D.C. to do it? There are lots of National Guardsmen closer to where he was. Question everything!

There were about 150 million people who voted for Harris or didn’t vote. And 150 million times $10.00 (just $10) is still 1.5 trillion dollars. 1.5 trillion minus 270 million (or what Musk spent for Trump) is still 1.23 trillion dollars. Together we are strong!
This year it will take some effort from all of us to get through the holidays. Remember that every act means something no matter how small. Together we are strong!

Trump’s 28-point peace plan includes security assurances from the U.S. Is there any reason Ukraine should believe it?

This is NOT something under Trump’s purview to change. It is probably under the control of the National ParkService and other committees who should be doing everything that can be done before Trump brings in the heavy equipment and we lose another national treasure!

We have got to develop a way, whether it is through education or some kind of Snopes service or something else NOT AI, that we can discern truth from lies. Sometimes it’s as simple as taking a step back and considering the surrounding facts. Sometimes it’s a lot harder. But we all need this NOW!

We have truly entered another dimension, one beyond anything rational, moral or intelligent. Musk said not long ago that there aren’t enough babies being born but what Trump, Musk, et al have brought us to is a world in which we’re going to have are millions ravaged and killed by diseases.
