Recording SAWLM for The Dark, I see... Agreed though; this design feels very red blue.

I'm all for investing now to save money in the long run, but I'm curious about the cost-benefit analysis I'm sure was done but is absent from the linked article. How many years of reduced energy bills until the savings break even with the investment?

Also, which schools/districts does this affect?

Our trans siblings are the realest, having the courage to take off the mask society expects them to wear. In this house, we welcome them and celebrate their authenticity.

Are you trans in the Magic the Gathering space? Are you creating, supporting, even just playing and having fun!?
Sound off. Celebrate yourself here. Find each other. We're stronger together.

Are you an ally? Boost us. Show support. Help us feel safer out here.

In-Universe fiction is the best way players can learn the lore and worldbuilding that makes Magic feel like ✨Magic✨. If you care about that feeling, especially in the face of UB encroachment, prove it to Hasbro. Pre-ordering this book is an easy and effective way to do that.

We are one week closer to the release of OMENS OF CHAOS, and the glorious return of Magic the Gathering long-form fiction!
A book cover against a blue background reading COMING FEBRUARY 17, 2026. The book cover shows a blonde-haired human New Capenna shield mage in the robes of a first year Strixhaven mage-scholar, casting a domed shield around herself. The school is behind her. The text on the cover reads "STRIXHAVEN | OMENS OF CHAOS | SEANAN MCGUIRE | New York Times Bestselling Author."

I'm not even the only one on this thread who took Mirko and modified the precon to a clones theme. I also have some blink/enters shenanigans.

He's declaring civil war on our own cities and I'm supposed to just keep working and paying taxes?

My toxic trait is that when MS Word autocorrects me, I will backspace and type it correctly myself, just so that there's no record of my failure.

I played my Nazahn deck the other night (called "I put the Ow in Meow"), and realized the old glossy sleeves are almost too sticky to shuffle well, and it's sitting in a cheap Amazon deck box. Definitely deserves an upgrade with some ingenious supplies.

So I just wanted to say a deep and heartfelt thank you, from me and my wife, for providing a better framework with which to understand the Bible and what we're supposed to do with it. We're looking forward to reading the rest of your book.

Being a co-creator of Heaven on Earth gives so much more meaning to the justice work and scientific advances and personal connections we make than if it's all just to make the world tolerable until God fixes everything for us.
mrhull.bsky.social
When we love others as God loves us, we create flourishing and life for each other. We have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of the God of Love, and create a world where needs are met and God is present. And that is Heaven.
mrhull.bsky.social
Hell is simply anywhere that people don't follow after God. It exists now. When we are selfish and evil, we suffer and torment each other. But the invitation to repent from those ways has no "RSVP by" deadline.
mrhull.bsky.social
And we've also really struggled with reconciling the concept of eternal conscious torment with a loving God whose mercies never cease. Highlighting the passages in Revelation wherein the gates are described as always open gave us a brand new, much needed perspective.
mrhull.bsky.social
But the eschatology you suggested (or at least what I took from it) implies that our efforts here and now have eternal value, and not just as a method of earning "afterlife rewards points," but because they are how we literally participate in the good work of creating Heaven.
mrhull.bsky.social
The apocalypse lens we both grew up with gave us a fatalistic outlook, where we're just doing the best we can to get by and make the world tolerable until God decides enough is enough and raptures us up to Heaven in the clouds while laying waste to what remains of the planet.
mrhull.bsky.social
As fate would have it, we read your chapter on the Apocalypse Lens tonight, on #rapture day. And I'm so glad we're all still here, because we've been struggling with how to begin reconstructing, and this chapter provided hope where previously there was precious little.

@zachwlambert.bsky.social, I don't think we've interacted directly before, but I've been following you (on socials, and watching some of your sermons on YouTube) for a couple of years now. My wife and I excitedly pre-ordered your book and have been reading a chapter of #bwtrtb each week.

We must honor the legacy of a man who championed free speech and opened dialogue across the aisle by firing any opinion columnist with an opinion different than our own.

Helluva play, America. I only hope this experiment survives long enough to see what the history books have to say about it.
nicholasgrossman.bsky.social
The free speech activist who built a list of professors he worked to get fired for their speech must be celebrated for his support of free speech, and anyone who quotes his speech accurately in context will be fired and/or face state punishment by the champions of free speech, do I have that right?

It always shocks me when they say the quiet part out loud, and literally nothing happens. This is just what America is now. And it makes me sad.

"I wish we could blame this on muslims or migrants, but turns out it was one of us." what a wild thing to say
