Had my favourite reading year in 2025 - also very much enjoyed tracking everything on #storygraph. Will do some sort of fun book year in review thing over the next few days!

Ended up teaching median from a Histograms in #MathsToday to my Year 11s - one of those #AlevelMaths topics that sneaks into GCSE. How does reflecting the Histogram affect the median...

Finishing up transformations of functions with Year 11s in #Mathstoday Students were struggling with describing functions after the transformations so made this to practice it and then will try it out with A Level classes later

Some of our wonderful department finishing off our Mathsathon at 10pm last night! We had spent the day at work doing 100 GCSE Higher Papers as a team to raise money for Movember. Was unsurprisingly very silly but very enjoyable.

Some of our wonderful department finishing off our Mathsathon at 10pm last night! We had spent the day at work doing 100 GCSE Higher Papers as a team to raise money for Movember. Was unsurprisingly very silly but very enjoyable.
