A new group joined me for a Kitbag session today. They developed their Meta skills by focussing well, communicating their feelings and emotions and showing respect and empathy towards others’ feelings. Afterwards they relaxed with some calming activities. #thestjoesstory @stjosephsps.bsky.social

Today we launched our Skills Academy with a focus on Health & Well-being. This group participated in a Kitbag session helping them to feel calm and talk about emotions. They then chose a relaxing activity. They identified developing 3 meta skills: focusing, feeling and communicating #thestjoesstory

P7 were ‘fantastique’ in our French lesson today. We practised numbers to 20 and learned strategies to help us remember those tricky teen numbers. We really had to think when doing French addition calculations and then had a game of French Bingo!Maybe next week we will reach 30! #thestjoesstory

A busy morning in P7. We have worked on Time - converting analogue to digital and 12hr to 24hr. We then worked on our French with Mrs A. We had P.E outside, working in stations to develop our skills and fitness! And yet you might still get a "nothing" when asked what they did today 🤣#thestjoesstory
