Disappointingly, my boss is no longer surprised when I come out with things like "I bet you didn't know that British Rail patented a flying saucer, did you?"

Chaps. Our kitchen itself, is complete. Electrician didn’t come today, but is coming tomorrow to duct in the extractor fan and do under unit lighting. But it’s effectively DONE. *BIG sigh*. 4 weeks and 1 day….. 🫣🫣
