In PE we have been working on our fitness levels. This week we all selected a work out of our choice from PE with Joe Wicks and completed a 30min workout. Ask us which exercises were included.

As part of our rainforest topic we have been learning about climate. We worked in groups to research the climate and weather conditions of different rainforests around the world. Then we presented our own rainforest weather forecasts to our class.

Last week for #EuropeanDayOfLanguages P5E took part in a range of activities. We listened to 2 fairytales for snack and story in different languages. We chose one in Ukrainian and the other in Romanian. We then learned a Ukrainian dance and did some keep fit in Spanish. @missmeiklebps.bsky.social

In our recent Meet The Teacher event we took part in a rotation of fun and challenging STEM activities. Why not challenge someone at home to the Cup Challenge, to Save Sam, make the longest paper chain or create the tallest building using only spaghetti and blutac. (2)

In Maths our current focus is Symmetry. We have been working hard to identify lines of symmetry and complete symmetrical pictures and shapes. There are lots of games to help practise this topic on SumDog and TopMarks.

P5E Class Charter - This week P5E discussed how our rights can be respected in both our class and across our school. We looked at a number of the UNCRC articles and how they relate to us. We then created our own class charter after voting on themes of our choice.
