just had to put a butterfly back into sleep mode, central heating is on (cause it baltic - might as well burn five pound notes) and all the butterflies are waking up and the cats are bouncing round the house chasing them. can’t put them outside as they will die immediately! so quiet shoebox it is.

7 yrs we have been watching my FIL disappear due of dementia. we finally moved him to a different docs as he previous docs were useless. we now have a social worker, care packages in place & it turns out my MIL is entitled to a carers allowance which was news to us. 7yrs of zero. help is out there

my whippet, my baby, is currently at a specialty vet in livingston, yes she is insured but to see if she has a grass seed up her nose is costing £4000. £1400 of that i have to pay. it’s really a license to print money isn’t it. total racket but makes you think about the NHS etc an how lucky we are.
