Found this book at Waterstones yesterday that I had never heard of before.
"Love and Monsters" by Miles Booy.
Has anyone else read this? Would you recommend?

The big conspiracy theory on Facebook is that because of Nicola Coughlan's LGBTQ- charity work, she's now secretly trans.
This is in the comments section of *every* UK news article talking about her.
We are so cooked as a country. Transphobia is a collective mental illness.

Maybe I just have a soft spot for the use of "Under Pressure", but the latest trailer for 'The Thunderbolts' was pretty good (even if they've completely spoiled one of the film's biggest twists with the villain).

In years to come we'll look at this era and wonder why in light of a global pandemic, economic inflation, growing inequality and technological upheaval we decided to make the private lives of a minority considerably worse.

New Church opened up in Manchester today.
A fascinating YouTube Trend I've been seeing more and more recently are companies uploading full episodes of children's shows on YouTube.
They're normally old episodes of nostalgic properties, but it's a further indicator of companies completely ceding ground to YouTube for kids programming.

I do think that this weekend has turned out to be a pretty poor release date for 'Doctor Who' this year.
Not only is the weather great so more Brits are outside, but it's sandwiched between 'Black Mirror' on Netflix and 'The Last of Us' on NOW/Max/Sky.
We shall see.

It's been 9 days and Instagram is still pushing April 1st post (Fools or Otherwise) to the top of my feed.
There must be something in the algorithm which is pushing these posts, probably to do with engagement but it's impossible to see anything recent from people I don't follow right now.

Because Instagram's feed isn't chronological, I keep seeing April Fools posts at the top of the app whenever I open it and get really confused about what's going on for a moment.

Guys, we might not be getting more Disney financing for 'Doctor Who' after these tariffs...

Can't help but feel that if a Democrat was doing what Trump was doing right now, not only would Republicans be fighting tooth-and-nail to impeach, but they'd also try and arrest him for crashing the economy because of their brain-damage.
But because it's Trump, the crash is good actually.

I've been working in studio for the past few weeks on a new TV show, but the gig comes to an end this week. Just in time for new #DoctorWho!
To celebrate I'm running a promo on my Patreon where new members get 20% off their 1st month of the Early Access or Contrib tiers!

Gone into studio today after a day off and it seems like every crew member here with kids went to see 'A Minecraft Movie' whether they wanted to or not.
Feels like the movie is going to be huge.

The Switch 2 looks like a cool bit of hardware. However, if that's the price of 1st Party Nintendo Games I might have to skip.
I was tempted to get one and dive into the back catalogue with backwards compatibility, but if it's just digital emulation...that throws a wrench into gaming on a budget.

This poll and the failure of Starmer's Neo-Liberal Labour is absolutely insane. 3rd place.
It's mad considering the Tories literally don't have any positions or policies right now and Reform are the same but with death-camps.

Wes Streeting is one of those rare politicians where it's so nakedly obvious that he's bought and paid for.
Literally, one day he was Pro-NHS and then the second he publicly received a £15K donation from a firm involved in private healthcare he *instantly* changed positions.
Horrible human.

British TV looks in good shape off the back of Adolescence but actually, the opposite is true.

Adolescence's success reveals a wider problem at the heart of British TV
While Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham's Netflix series is a cause for celebration, there's a reason it's on Netflix and not the BBC or ITV.

Just received a bill from Virgin Media and they've nearly doubled the price of our package (Basic Wi-Fi, Basic TV).
Any recommendations for Wi-Fi and Basic TV Packages? Thinking about EE, but open to suggestions. Don't want to pay much more than £50 a month for both.

Between 2006 & 2008(ish), I used to do the village paper-round. Only 1 house in my village was subscribed to The Radio Times.
There was a 10-minute walk gap between one of the houses and I'd just that time to go through their Radio Times to fawn over the 'Doctor Who' coverage and news. Loved it.
