Mr. TV was overcome with emotion seeing the new talent announced for the Play for Today revival.

Especially as some of the brand new talent have only managed to get work on Eastenders, Doctors, a Jimmy McGovern drama, Holby City, and Casualty.

Sorry, Mr. TV's chair is a bit wonky because of the odd number of hospital-based documentaries propping up his chair.

Mr. TV has accidentally found himself in an alternate reality where Mr. Theatre and Mr. Book will only commission work if it's been a successful TV show first.

He finds this reality unauthentic and unable to sustain a story, and decides not to take it any further.

Mr. TV watched a nature documentary about how beavers create dams to slow the flow of water, get around more efficiently and protect themselves.

Six months later, TV writers are being told to ensure they have a strong 'Narrative Beaver'.

Mr. TV is very concerned about toxic men in front of camera on unscripted TV and behind the camera in scripted TV.

Thing is, the ratings are rather good.
