On #WorldAMRAwarenessWeek, we’re calling for concrete action to ensure access to existing diagnostic tools, microbiology capacities, legacy & new lifesaving antibiotics, and care for all...

+ an increase in R&D for low-resource & humanitarian settings, where it's most needed.

🦠 By 2050, AMR is estimated to contribute to 8.2 million deaths worldwide.

For people living in fragile and conflict-affected settings, where access to infection prevention, diagnostics, and antimicrobials is limited, the impact of AMR is more severe.

Today is World Diabetes Day.

More than 800 million people have diabetes, most of whom live in low- and middle-income countries.

For people w/ type 1 diabetes, insulin is lifesaving, but it's often unavailable in low-resource and emergency settings and unaffordable elsewhere.
November 14, 2025 at 11:14 AM
Scientists discovered insulin over 100 years ago, envisioning a world where everyone could access #diabetes treatment.

But it is often unavailable or unaffordable.

Ahead of World Diabetes Day tomorrow, we’re calling for affordable & available insulin pens for all.

Today @who.int released their 2025 #tuberculosis report, and figures remain unacceptable: 1.2 million children and young adolescents fell ill in 2024, and a staggering 43% were never diagnosed and thus missed lifesaving treatment. Act now to close the deadly gap!

Half of children and young adolescents with tuberculosis are not diagnosed and therefore do not receive lifesaving treatment… but why?

Take a look at the causes of this deadly gap, which we’ll be discussing in next week’s panel discussion.

Every child withTB deserves a healthy childhood. Yet in 2023, 1.25M fell ill with TB and nearly half were never diagnosed, thus never treated.

Join our webinar moderated by @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social where survivors and treatment providers will discuss how to close these deadly gaps.

🦠 It's estimated that by 2050, antibiotic resistance will cause 8.22 million deaths per year.
To try and combat this, MSF launched Antibiogo, a free diagnostic aid app to combat antibiotic resistance by improving access to patient diagnoses.
