Dear fellow Minnesotans; do you have some sweaters that could use cleaning? This snowstorm is the perfect opportunity to snow-wash your woolen clothes. While you're out shovelling, take your sweaters outside, cover them in snow and leave them for 10 minutes or so.

I'm back from picking up my artwork from a show; and it looks like I'll have a couple of pieces to put back in the shop, just in time for the holidays! The black and red Guardian Eye is already spoken for, but do give a yell if you can't live without one of the other pieces!!

A nice thing about teaching adult community classes? Sometimes students will bring something to share with the class. A student in my knitting class brought in a crocheted bear that needed a knitted poncho. An embroidery student baked cranberry scones, and one of them was my breakfast. I love this.
