If I ever have another job interview, and someone asks “Why do you think you could do this job? You’ve never done anything like this before...”

Strange takes on Mayor Zamdani swearing his oath on the Qu’ran. It has nothing to do with church & state. The point of the oath is for the person swearing in to do so upon some text that is sacred TO THEM. Some Presidents swore in w/o any book. John Quincy Adams was sworn on a law book. His choice.

I am finding Zohran Mamdani’s inauguration to be such a moment of bright light.
Truly balm for a weary soul.
Thank you NYC for bringing us all hope and light!!!!!
(If you haven’t watched, it is highly recommended.)

Write to DNC Chair Ken Martin and urge him to reverse his decision to not release the DNC’s 2024 autopsy report. It’s a stunningly bad decision that will hurt us badly in the long term.

And (sorry/not sorry) why doesn't all the work that went into limiting alcohol and cigarettes ads/availability apply?

Pretty much sums it up.

Conservatives yell “socialism” at every initiative designed to help people.

Maybe you've heard the word a few times already today.

But this is nothing more than an old scare tactic.

A functioning government requires pooling resources for the common good. Let me explain.
