Hi, I’m Jeanné. FPL/A CEO, public theologian, & a believer that we can create communities of empowerment & belonging. Our faiths show us the way forward when things are uncertain, & this is the wisdom we seek.⛪️🕍☯️🛕🕌☪️🛐🕉️

The shootings of MN lawmakers are devastating. Across faiths, we value life and service to community. Political violence offends our faiths and disrespects that service. Violence doesn't bring us closer to solving our nation's problems. Let us pray for the people of MN & for respecting our humanity.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Out Loud, I had the opportunity to speak with visionary Jewish leader and LGBTQ+ advocate, Idit Klein, about belonging and the courage required to be the transformative leaders needed in this moment.

Last week we joined with leaders across faith traditions in DC, Atlanta, Columbus, & Orlando to say: We unite. We pray. We resist.

We are united across faith traditions, joining in prayer for the immigrant members of our communities, & resisting directives that seek to harm or criminalize.
I am grieving the death of Pope Francis who showed a unique mix of deep compassion and unapologetically weilding his power for the good of humanity. His directive to be the encounter with Christ that so many yearn for has informed my leadership over the years. God Bless you, Pope Francis.
In season two of my podcast, Wrestling Out Loud, I speak with guests from diverse faith backgrounds to explore how our traditions guide us in navigating a complex political landscape and in our work toward shared liberation.

Available April 30, wherever you listen.🎧
