Who's the most talented designer you know? We're looking to put a fresh coat of paint on this old hag as we close in to 1.0.

Back to the drawing board. After four years of building, we're doing full-scale user interviews again.

So many folks started using Wasp lately and we realized we need to understand better what drove them to it.

If you're building with Wasp / Open SaaS, send me a DM. I'd love to chat.

The reason so many developers use AI for their work isn't because they are more productive. It's simply because they're bored.

[the same goes for frameworks]

involves us and works our destruction.

It is the example of other people that is our undoing; let us merely separate ourselves from the crowd, and we shall be made whole.”

"For it is dangerous to attach one's self to the crowd in front, and so long as each one of us is more willing to trust another than to judge for himself, we never show any judgement in the matter of living, but always a blind trust, and a mistake that has been passed on from hand to hand finally

Sick today. But always nice to get motivation from the team.

Asking people to stop studying Computer Science is the same as asking them not to study medicine because there are now LLMs.

You don't want your doctor to not understand what GPT said. And don't forget these doctors are using software that an engineer wrote.

Working remotely is great in many ways, but makes it harder to stay in touch with the people.

This is why we started a "Morning Wasp Coffee Shop" in our Discord - folks can join any time, chat or just sip their coffee and start their day with some company.

A lot of cool stuff coming to Open SaaS! Vinny did a great job refining all the ideas and requests.

It's a goldmine for hungry OSS contributors.

It is simply there. You just download it, run it, and suddenly you can do things you couldn't before.

The beautiful thing about a framework is that it is a pure idea - no any "physical" weight whatsoever. It's designing how one thinks.

It's not a SaaS that needs to be hosted in order to be "alive". No company has to exist to make it available.

I installed Zed and about to give it a test ride. I've been looking for a way to recreate my Vim setup. VS Code couldn't live up. This is a new ray of hope.

AI is bad at design for the same reason it's bad at humor - it lacks taste and subtlety.

We didn't know what we were doing even before AI. Now we can just not know faster.

Just spoke to a founder who built their business with Wasp and sold it for high five figures, and got an amazing new job.

Sorting out all the NDAs, and the story hopefully drops soon.

It's still hard for me to fathom we've built something that enables this.

One of our users struggled to build their app with lovable and finally found success with @opensaas_sh.

Their words: "I can do a change faster with some code rather than prompting it 50 times".

They use CC and cursor along with it ofc.
