More acrylic paint pen trials. Working so small with such large tips is difficult. I also typically work in a fashion where I blend my colours, so this graphic style is new to me!

I bought myself paint pens. I think this is a great example of social media making something look easy… but it’s not! I think you really have to be patient (not my forte) or you will find the paints/colours get muddled. And I didn’t realize how big a medium tip is.

I bought myself paint pens. I think this is a great example of social media making something look easy… but it’s not! I think you really have to be patient (not my forte) or you will find the paints/colours get muddled. And I didn’t realize how big a medium tip is.

I think I need to be more brave. I’m so scared to just… paint? Which is odd and a new anxiety for me. So! I let myself sketch more nightmare buddies (on the right), I let myself sketch some plants (middle/yellow), but I’m just going to paint florals on the prepped green-gouache (leftmost). #TradArt
