Had some friends over last night for dinner and we sang a whole bunch of Advent songs - Come Thou Long Expected Jesus (both Stuttgart and Hyfrydol) Comfort Comfort Ye My People, Prepare the Way O Zion, Lift Up Your Heads Ye Mighty Gates and more! Just finished reading Anne of Green Gables with my daughters - I had never read it before but it is always highly regarded by my library colleagues. It did not disappoint - such a beautifully told story, and we're all excited now to continue Anne's adventures with the next book in the series. 📚
