Mississippi hasn’t moved on from Jim Crow and the Mississippi Citizens Council. Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn’t been paying attention or visited the state for any length of time. The calendar may say it’s 2025, but many policies in that state are still operating in 1825.

What other interpretation than wage slavery can be understood given the minimum wage hasn’t increased since 2009? And most health insurance is tied to a job? Not that the rich have any intention of wage slaves having health insurance. Or retirement. We’re to work until we die. TAX THE RICH!!

We see how well that works in Tommy’s case. He didn’t know the three branches of government. I was educated in Alabama and allowing states to decide without oversight what’s taught is a recipe for stupidity.

This is found in Project 2025, pgs 319-362. On page 319, in the 1st paragraph, “…the federal Department of Education should be eliminated.” The plan is to hand funding for public education over to a voucher system. Of course, all for-profit. The rich get educated, the poor do without.

The rich are very different. One of my best friends in high school was from a very wealthy family. Their lives were so different, and they seriously had no clue how other people lived.

What never ceases to p*ss me off is some a**hat blithely saying this or that group should have this or that done to them, or this or that state should secede or whatever. Who the hell do they think they are that they have any right to decide others’ lives? Guess I’ll never get to stop fighting.

I did too, and no welfare. Still, none of it had to be what it was except for the greed that drove it and is driving it again. The hell of it is they’re coming for every avenue of income we have. We’ve been lucky. Not everyone is as fortunate. Those are the ones on whose behalf I can’t forgive.

A recession/depression is coming. How bad is being debated. I’ve lived through inflation rates of 12-13+%, and mortgage rates of 18% in 1980 with a children to feed. It was miserable, hard and terrifying. I haven’t forgotten or forgiven. I won’t this time. Ever.

Lifetime immunity? Bullsh*t! As my dearest best friend (74 yr old) told me recently, “I have hearing aids, in part because of scar on right eardrum caused by measles when 6 months old! Screw these fellas!!!”

As someone who got the measles 3 times as a child & again as a 22 yr old - what he said! 👆🏼
