I’ve read that she could be sworn in by any person authorized to administer oaths. That would include, at the very least, judges and court clerks. Does anyone know if that is accurate? If it is, I would like to see her follow that path and take her duly elected place in the House. 1/2

What is it with the Republicans in Congress these days? I have disagreed with them on policy for decades, but in the mid-20th Century they didn’t used to just make up stuff the way they’re doing now. Outlandish stuff.

Actually, I brought a rifle to boarding school in 1966. In Maine some kids did a little deer hunting before school, and they locked their rifles in their cars. Things have changed in 60 years.
