I think I figured out the background situation but I have a few more pieces to finish before I will actually be posting but I think I found a good balance I like. ^^

So as a teaser let me expand my worry. The original is the simple gradient. I like the vibe of it but it feels too much like its not there to help the character stand out. I like the vibe of the stripe but its too simple, and the third is a more complicated hard light blend to balance a set together

Been working a lot on the portraits and have large parts of the sets done (because I couldn't work on just one set like a normie LOL) But I'm debating with the backgrounds. I'm not doing anything intensive but the gradients I'm currently using feel... too much. Hmm... We shall see.

Met the saltiest Rudie I've ever met in a Death Run. Mans said "Why are you doing anything" while standing still all round for 5 floors and complaining that I'm BORING for not trying to kill them. Like sir you also aren't going for me and we only had commons ofc I wasn't gonna waste my time.

Its been a minute (DND has absorbed my life again LOL)

If I were to do a weeklong debut event for the 3.0 model would anyone want to pop by and be a part of it?

The plan would be around a 3-4 hour stream each day for a full week in mid-late June with different game(s). WDYT?

Surprise! The second new gimmick is that I am (stealing) incorporating special categories of heroes, in this instance DUO HEROES. I had the silly idea to do two Ross's in the same piece and it fit with everyone else in the set. For powers they have a magic train horn to push enemies far away!

Partially due to Peach's Cowboy outfit from Showtime, I wanted to throw in an "It's a Me" as a counterpart of sorts (plus there's a tie in to someone else in the banner) As a "fighter" Mario would be able to bind targets with the lasso or pull them in for a strong close combative strike!

The first twist of the new set is revealed! I decided to incorporate fictional characters to the sets! For Faye I used her actual palette from official art but swapped around the locations for a new outfit. In "game" she would pull out her collapsable (Pistol?) to fire high velocity energy pulses~
