Stunning performance by Berliner Philarmoniker with Gustavo Dudamel of Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony. Just sensational. Can’t quite believe I was in the audience - a dream come true.
Thank you for such interesting posts - we could do with a few sculpture graveyards here in the UK. Actually, having said that, what has been done with the Colston statue in Bristol is really good. It's been museum-ised and it really works....
Only got a minute of it but wholeheartedly agree, thanks for enduring Sky Sports so a lot of us don’t have to (volume on mute, live pictures synced with the Arsenal comms for matches). Your eloquence and consideration is really appreciated!

VAR didn’t want to ‘embarrass’ Simon Hooper (‘Hoops’ no doubt) by sending him to the screen for the second time in the match. Hooper had already missed the crystal clear red card for Chalobah’s last-man foul earlier. Sadly another good example of VAR not being fit for purpose.
Outstanding, looks like a perfect fit; technically brave and unfazed.
Love the format with Adrian C presenting, proper knowledge across the panel

VVD succession planning this is not
Sure but at that price had me wondering if there’s a tactical evolution here ie both start up top, maybe Isak from the left
Why Ekitike and Isak when they are identical profiles?
Agree, but easier said than done. He has good reason - as do most Gooners - of having recent (15+ years) Anfield PTSD
Havertz & Saka is probably just unfortunate/bad luck/variance. But perhaps this season players are coming off straight away - as if they’re under instruction not to try and play-through (eg Trossard) - a benefit of there now being a deeper squad.
The only time I heard this performed was at the funeral in The Hague of a cousin who tragically died on an art school trip to NYC. The ‘silence’ was captivating, hauntingly sad, all manner of ambient sounds heard and not heard. The beginning and end marked by a delicate clash of Buddhist cymbals.
