Isn’t this what they are suppose to do anyway? Why elect them if they are not going to take an oppositional position on anything the opposing party is trying to do? Debate is healthy for the system. It roots out bs and under handed attachments to bills and bad policy.

A lot of people don’t realize how this is a national security issue. This is our food supply as well as the rest of the world’s food supply. Trump is killing off private farmers and cattle ranchers. Once they are gone they will be gone. There will only be corporate farmers or Barron or Lord farms.

Congress needs to flex what muscles it does have and say no to any budget other than a minimum one like a reduction of pay, no bounties or bonuses, a psych review on every field agent. Basically Congress should have full oversight over DHS, not the executive branch.
