Drawing folds is kinda intuitive when you understand how it works, you can actually draw some few random lines and it will end up looking believable.

Thanks! It's actually from a reference of an actual sculpture, yes.

Value painting study.

It's so damn hard not to over detail the areas in dark/shadow. Also, the creator of this sculpting reference that i used is so freaking good.

Figure painting study.

I'm not used to shading black skin, it differs from white skin which you start with a light mid tone and sculpt the shadows and light. Here i had to start with a very dark wash of tone and sculpt the midtones and highlights, so tricky.
