This is really bad. It won’t get the popular opposition the Kimmel incident did, but it’s way more sweeping and authoritarian. This is an effort to bring the full force of government down on any and all opposition to this administration.

Instead of taking the bus home this morning, I hiked across Mount Tabor to feel my body and see big trees. Some of the moments that felt beautiful or notable were photographed to make the feeling easier to remember later.

Thought by now I'd be done living with her, I'd have autonomy again, I'd have space to consider my future. But I still don't. There's been little to no accountability. I've been so quiet about how she's treated me and everything I put up with. I've been protecting her reputation to my own detriment.

Life has been brutal lately. End of May my spouse of 12 years abruptly ended our relationship without any warning. Agonizingly, we are still living together as she lacks the skills to safely/cordially navigate separation. I'm trying to hold some semblance of hope but it feels impossible most days.

Controversial take but I'm probably in favor of Muskolini forming his own political party. We have seen how green and independent voters have broken up cohesion in the democratic party for close elections. Anything with potential to dilute the power of the fundamentalist right is a good thing.

Incredible news for trans people - the Medicaid provision is out of the Trump horror bill. It did not require a point of order vote, and instead, Republicans pulled it out on their own, likely knowing they would lose the vote.

Good job to everyone for calling their Senators.

Today, senator Ron Wyden will raise a point of order to remove the Medicaid and CHIP ban on gender affirming care. The Republicans need 60 votes to keep it in but they only have 53. Call your Dem senator today and urge them to vote to strip the ban from the bill. Senate switchboard 202-224-3121.

Disappeared here for a month bc my life blew up. Partner of 12 yrs announced the end of our relationship without warning and since then I've been in full traumabrain incl extreme OCD, pain flare, and memory problems. The ESA are definitely earning their kibble these days. #mentalhealth #ocdrecovery

Update: It took the neighbors at least 15 minutes after I noticed the crows already into the food to finally come out and retrieve it. I have so many questions. Mainly, who leaves their doordash sitting outside that long? In a neighborhood that has crows, racoons, and coyotes daily? And it's rainy?

Building true safety and community resilience requires difficult growth. Not all conflict is abuse. Not all shitty behavior should be solved by ostracization. Some, yes, but if that's always your first solution, you're constantly cutting the legs out from under yourself.
