I have a large record collection. I tend to sell off some when I realize they don’t really do it for me. So I really do love the vast majority of my records. I have some really odd ones & some surprising ones, so I’ve been making a video series “Why is THIS in my collection”. Today’s is Gazebo.

Living in TW for 25 years, I keep discovering hidden gems. Tonight I listened to a 1980 Japanese western style folk LP by 鈴木一平 (Ichiro Suzuki) “北緯43度” (“Latitude 43 North.”). Has some nods to Simon & Garfunkel style picking & strumming, but sung in Japanese. Gorgeous&moody!

I need to get busy on here. I want to find my tribe & inspire each other. Anyone here love pop and rock music, with a particular fondness for the music of the late 60s through to 2010? Doors, Beatles, Depeche, Bob Marley, Editors, Taylor Swift, Kylie, Sabbath, Field Mice? K-tel and NOW compilations?

I’ve been listening to great music all day at my café. Had a ton of customers with loads of different music tastes. It was great! After the last one left, I spun Talking Heads “Speaking in Tongues” as I closed up shop! Awesome Saturday!
