As mentioned, I watched Troll 2, a Scandinavian movie. At one point, they gave reaction videos from around the world. The American is a neck beard in a ball cap saying “if they could fake the moon landing they sure could fake that troll!” This is how the world sees us. It’s a fucking embarrassment.

As mentioned, I watched Troll 2, a Scandinavian movie. At one point, they gave reaction videos from around the world. The American is a neck beard in a ball cap saying “if they could fake the moon landing they sure could fake that troll!” This is how the world sees us. It’s a fucking embarrassment.
Watched Troll 2. I liked the first, but didn’t love it. The troll was cool, but I didn’t quite get the extreme praise. Felt pretty much the same with 2. It’s worth a watch, and the trolls are cool, and the Godzilla fans will enjoy it.

Saw my fourth King based movie if 2025 - Running Man. It was good - not great, but rewatchable, and engaging. When I saw The Long Walk, I said I liked the ending of that movie better than Kings.. 1/2

Finally got to see Predator Badlands. A terrific, fun movie, that oozes 80’s action. Easily my second favorite in the franchise now. Just like Aliens is a completely different type of movie from Alien yet they fit together, Badlands is nothing like Predator, yet they mesh. 1/2

I saw Frankenstein. A beautiful film (but I generally love 19th century period pieces), it oozes with Del Torro’s love for the book and the stories that came after (I loved the nod to the Bride in the wedding dress), and splitting up the narrative between Victor and the creature worked well. 1/4
