We all have various different forms of skills and intelligence, and that gets severly misunderstood (thanks capitalist society for training us to believe there is some kind of hierarchy to knowledge).

Admitting what we do and don't know helps others not feel shamed about it too.

I manage to sporadically pick up Japanese in shows sometimes, and have a few kid's books in Japanese for practice, it feels good when you start to understand it!
