Summary:

“I think,” Lan Zhan hears himself saying, “I might be bisexual.”

The words flow from him, as simple and right as dawn breaking over the horizon. There is still much to be weighed and answered and reflected upon, but for the moment, just speaking them aloud is enough. And so he waits, watching his new self gradually taking form before him, listening to the quiet thrum of his heart as it creaks and shifts and expands to accommodate this revelation: patient, undemanding, and once again, unequivocally whole.
