Know very little but thought this would be animated.

It’s looks good though and I can’t wait to see it.

Abbott and Costello are my favourite double act. This film is amazing.

How very sad to hear about James Van Der Beek. Grew up watching Dawsons Creek.

Enjoyed him in The Rules of Attraction in 2002.

I watched the Dawsons read through on YouTube last year where he wasn’t well enough to attend. Proper nostalgia trip.

RIP

Caught up with last weekends episode of A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms….its a beautifully shot episode, first off. The fog later in the episode is eerie and cold.

The light heartedness and of previous episodes has turned on its head. Hope this doesn’t change Dun The Talls outlook on life!

Wasn’t feeling great yesterday. Managed to catch my daughters cold and it hit like a bus. Man-flu. But while I was feeling sorry for myself, I binge watched the new series of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Another great series! Goes from strength to strength.

Fallout Season 2 finished. Loved Thaddeus and hope he’s around in season 3. Enjoyed this season more than the first. It really is good television.

I had the same look on my face as Dunk at the end of the episode. Egg is really sweet and his interaction with the horse made me laugh.

“The Squire” is the strongest episode yet of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ first season, further developing the sweet big brother/little brother bond between Dunk and Egg and then blowing up their brief interlude of serenity with a huge revelation.

Wonder Man….didnt really know what to expect. Not heard much about the comic book version either. But was surprised by how good it was. Simon and Trevor are a great double act and they steadily lean on each other & bring the best out of one another. Great origin story.

RIP to the most amazing Catherine O’Hara.

What a wonderful actor she was.

Free Bert definitely has that second hand embarrassment feel about it. It’s cringe. You know he’s gonna mess up. But you gotta watch it.

Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart - watched this open mouthed. Just staggered that someone can walk into a family home and walk out with a child. The kid was strong despite all the things that happened to her. Well worth a watch.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms:

He’s a big softy, is Dunc. Nice that in the world of Westeros, he’s not an arse.

Seems a bit stupid but I’m putting that down to being massively naive. He may slouch but hopefully we’ll see that chest puff out a bit as the series pushes on.

I’m watching Field of Dreams (one of my fave sport films) and I only found out just before Christmas that the baseball pitch they made for the film is still there and people visit it. Blown my mind when I heard!

Over the next few days my plan is to get my gf watching Home Alone 2. She’s never seen it. She loves the first one but has refused to watch the sequel. Unbelievable.

Another legend leaves us. RIP.

Absolutely loved Buck Rogers when I was growing up. I think they had the reruns on BBC2 in the UK?

Die Hard tonight. Love this film. Willis is brilliant and Rickman is amazing.

Do you think this would be made today?

First time I’ve seen Thunderbolts. I tell you what though…it’s better than I thought it would be. I actually liked all the characters. They’re disjointed and unruly but I actually prefer this. Bob. Let’s not forget about Bob! This made me excited about New Avengers as well.

Wake Up Dead Man on @netflixuk, I think, was my favourite so far of the Knives Out films. I thought Josh O’Connor and Josh Brolin were brilliant. Had me guessing right until the end to be honest.

Tonight I’ve got The Hound of the Baskervilles with Ian Richardson as Sherlock Holmes. It’s a great version and full of stars. Denholm Elliot, Brian Blessed, Ronald Lacey and Martin Shaw to name a few.

I think I’ll watch other versions over the next few weeks.
