I think both desire to be brutally honest, because that already shows through in a lot of their daily personalities. The way they joke, the opinions they offer—Beryl twists his honesty more though out of fear of judgement with his ties to Xanathar’s. Exodus invites bad company if he’s too honest.

I didn’t realize I made them so similar, especially when their cases are so vastly different. Beryl’s lies will stack and eventually get more people hurt. Exodus’ lies are innocent and grown on the bitterness towards a man who desires control. Beryl wants to be known. Exodus wants to be supported.

Both Exodus and Beryl were built to be liars so they could get what they think will make them happy. One wants purpose, and the other wants power. Both are desperate for a secure identity, but honesty can’t get them out of the hole they’ve dug for themselves now.

omg wip wednesday…. i’ve been working through comms but i’ve been making a cute lil kindred on the side for a vampire the masquerade three-shot. i’ve become utterly obsessed with the worldbuilding over the past week and i love my eula <3

(i made it myself!!!)” eula is a tzimisce kindred and also has a love for taxidermy… her work may extend into other areas though.
