Why tf is Donald Trump spewing propaganda on Redzone rn?
That play to Diggs was simply unavailable to the Patriots last year.
I really feel that over the last two weeks the Ducks and Sharks have delivered this message to the league:
Macklin Celebrini is something else. Just dogwalked a Norris candidate and the reigning Hart and Vezina winner.
@dimfilipovic.bsky.social with Friedman talking about a Kyrou trade I would like us all to revisit this idea from last year’s deadline.

That last deal w/ St Louis but the Jets do it instead of the Red Wings is my dream. Empty the cupboard and get Robert Thomas to be the 2C we’ve needed for my entire adult life.
At least a part of me is worried that the CPC’s reaction to these defections will be the same as the GOP over Trumps first term - to replace them with hardliners and somehow manage to retain a similar share of the electorate.
Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux has resigned from the House of Commons!!

This is going to trigger a by-election that, if they win, could see the Liberals just one seat short of a majority.

Jeneroux won the seat over his Liberal opponent by roughly 5 percentage points in April’s election.
Interesting. They didn’t show that angle on the broadcast. From the side it looked like his foot was outside the crease for a significant amount of time before the puck showed up.
I said last night it was a dumb challenge because there was no way it would be overturned but that it shouldn’t have been waved off to begin with.

LAK would have challenged and they would have been looking at the iPad for 30 mins so maybe it’s for the best.
I can’t find a highlight but iirc it was:

Vilardi’s skate goes in the crease

Kuemper and Vilardi make contact

Vilardi’s skate leaves the crease

Vilardi gets pushed into Kuemper but doesn’t go in the crease

Puck arrives
@downgoesbrown.bsky.social @seangentille.bsky.social y’all need to take a look at the Vilardi no goal from last night’s Jets/Kings game. We need to determine what the statute of limitations is on foot in the crease then leaving the crease on goaltender interference.
It was super borderline but the difference maker was it was ruled no goal on the ice and it’s a tougher ask to overturn a call on a 50/50 play than not. Had they called it a goal then LA challenged it probably would have been one of those annoying 15 minute reviews.
I’ve been banging this drum for a while.

Every player with more than 1200 points except for Nicholls and Damphousse are in the hall.

Mark Scheifele has 6 years left on his contract. He needs to average 82 points/year to get to *1300* by the end of his contract.

1200 seems to be a lock.
I thought Vilardi went in then left again after making incidental contact. What is the statute of limitations on entering and exiting the crease?

I thought there was 0% chance it would be overturned but I didn’t think it should have been called in the first place.
There was zero chance it would get overturned but I thought it shouldn’t have been called in the first place.

Had it been no call I assume the Kings would have challenged which would have been interesting.
The war on Christmas will not cease until it ends its illegal occupation of November.

I will tolerate it in stores after Remembrance Day but the decorations don’t go up until Dec 1 at my house.
*looks at temperature*

“That’s not too bad”

*looks at wind*
In the sense that the Leafs ruin everything?
The last bit really ruins it
So he can beam Ohtani when they walk him and eat the ejection?
I think Scheifele listened to @theathletic.com hockey show today.
@seangentille.bsky.social @shaynagoldman.bsky.social @haileysalvian.bsky.social

Y’all talking about Scheifele vs Jarvis for team Canada, and I’m forced to ask which of these two players you want playing RW with Crosby and MacKinnon?
@garrethohl.bsky.social I think that sequence around the net is a good example of why Toews might not be the problem his advanced metrics may suggest.
The Chicago Blackhawks seem to be very bad at defending the rush.
